  • Medium frying-pan
  • Toaster
  • Potato Peeler or Large Holed Cheese Grater
  • 2 sheets of paper towels
  • 2 plate

  • Place one paper towel on a plate (after bacon and hasbrowns are done cooking, place them on the plate and put the other paper towel over the top to absorb the excess oil and grease).
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 egg(s)
  • 2 slice(s) bacon
  • 1 slice(s) bread
  • 1 russet potato(es)

Fried Hard


For over-easy eggs

  1. Coat skillet with olive oil
  2. Pre-heat skillet on medium heat
  3. Crack egg (with yoke in tact) in center of skillet
  4. Let egg cook until bottom of egg is white but yoke is still uncooked
  5. CAREFULLY flip the egg (without breaking yoke) and cook an additional 30 seconds
  6. Turn off stove and CAREFULLY transfer egg to plate (yoke is still fragile and can break easily)

For over-medium eggs

  1. Coat skillet with olive oil
  2. Pre-heat skillet on medium heat
  3. Crack egg (with yoke in tact) in center of skillet
  4. Let egg cook until bottom of egg is white but the edges are browning and yoke is still uncooked
  5. CAREFULLY flip the egg (without breaking yoke) and cook an additional minute
  6. Turn off stove and CAREFULLY transfer egg to plate (yoke is still semi-fragile and can break easily)

For hard fried eggs

  1. Coat skillet with olive oil
  2. Pre-heat skillet on medium heat
  3. Crack egg in center of skillet
  4. Break open the yoke
  5. Cook egg until bottom is white and edges are browning
  6. Flip egg and let cook until yoke becomes light yellow
  7. Turn off stove and transfer egg onto a plate

  1. Place bread in toaster
  2. Adjust toaster setting between 4 and 5 (or as desired for personal crispyness)
  3. Push down on the lever of the toater
  4. Spread butter on toast, completely covering one side
  5. Cut toast in half diagonally
  1. Place bacon in clean frying-pan and turn on stove to medium heat
  2. Cook for 10 minutes on side
  3. Carefully flip over the bacon and cook for an additional 5 minutes
  4. Turn off the stove and carefully take the bacon out of the frying-pan on a plate
  5. Let stand for 5 minutes
  1. Peel the potato into thin strips
  2. Coat frying-pan with olive oil
  3. Turn on stove to medium heat
  4. When oil is hot, gently place the potato strips into frying-pan
  5. Cook potato strips until they turn golden brown (stirring occasionally)
  6. Turn off the stove and carefully put hashbrowns on a plate
  7. let stand for 5 minutes
