Eggs Florentine

  • Baking Sheet
  • Medium skillet
  • Small sauce pan
  • Small Bowl

  • Ingredients:

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp(s) Salt
  • 1/2 cup(s) Spinach
  • 1 tbsp(s) Olive oil

Cook Time: Approx. 5 minutes

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in skillet
  2. Add salt and slowly stir for approx. 1 minute
  3. Crack egg into a small bowl and slowly pour the egg into the boiling water
  4. Slowly and carefully stir the egg in the water. DO NOT BREAK THE YOKE
  5. Boil the eggs for approx. 3 minutes after the egg has formed into the poached shape and texture
  6. Sautee the spinach with the olive oil
  7. Place the poached egg ontop of the spinach
  8. Serve while the egg is still fresh
