Welcome to Hiemstra Online Design! I am your host, Matt Hiemstra.
Let me give you a little information about who I am and what I can do for you...
I am a passionate web developer who strives to learn and improve on new techniques with every website I create, whether it's for my clients, or personal projects. I graduated from the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) with an AAS in Web Development and I am currently attending Simpson College for my Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems (CIS).
In addition to learning how to be proficient at multiple different tools and languages, such as HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and PHP, I have also taught myself how to work with different frameworks such as Foundation, Gumby, and WordPress. I use these skills not only in my classes and projects for school, but also with my professional clients when I am freelancing.
